# ABOUT SNAPSHOT.MD

SNAPSHOT.md is a working idea: before an AI agent changes something that matters, it takes a snapshot, a point-in-time copy it can go back to. A plain markdown file says what to snapshot, where to keep it, for how long, and how to restore it.

## WHAT IT COULD COVER

• - what gets a snapshot: files, databases, settings, pages
• - when: before every change, or on a schedule
• - where copies live, and how long they're kept
• - how to restore, step by step, and who may do it
• - a hash for each snapshot, so a copy can be checked
